Pipe
Q & A: Q: Why aren't bikes allowed? A: Due to the size of the building, the
safety issues, and the extreme damage done by pegs peddles and
handlebars; we feel it's in the best interest of everybody not
to allow them. Q: How do I get on The Pipe Team? A: There are four requirements: Number
one; you must be a regular customer. Number two; You have to get
top three in the intermediate class of a Pipe Competition. Third;
you must have a good attitude. Finally; you must be drug free. Q: Will The Pipe go out of business when
the Janesville outdoor skate park opens? A: The answer is no because most of our
income comes from the retail store so the outdoor park would actually
help us out in the long run. Here's a message to that small group
of "Rogers Haters" downtown the outdoor park will not
put us out of business. Q: What skateboard and blader pros have
been to The Pipe? A: The following pro skateboarders: Bam
Margera, Ed Templeton, Brian Anderson, Chris Senn, Mike Maldonado,
Kerry Getz, Ellissa Steamer, John Allie, Greg Lutzka, Dave Mayhew.
The following pro bladers: The entire USD team, Razors team riders, Brian Shima, and Brian Arigon. Q: When will the inside walls get Graffiti
Art? A: We are currently looking for graffiti
artists. We will provide the paint for your artist skills. Q: Why Doesn't The Pipe serve hot food
other than snacks? A: The Pipe does not have food licenses
to sell cooked food, but we are working on the idea of a restaurant. Q: How do I get my picture on Fresh Satuday?
A: Show up on Saturday. Q: Concerned parent has question about swearing.
A: At times, you may hear swearing or lyrics in songs with offensive words at The Pipe. We admit that the Pipe is not for EVERYONE. The Pipe doesn't make kids act a certain way. You know you have a skater kid before he ever walks into The Pipe. If you have any other questions, please
ask by e-mailing us at thepipe@ticon.net
